If you have an Interactive Brokers(IB) real account, you can apply for the paper account(simulating account) for testing. How to apply your paper account? Login to you IB account in the official website(www.interactivebrokers.com), then click in the menu “Management Account->Settings->Paper Account”, you will find instruction to open your paper account. By the way, please note that the paper account will share real-time market data with your real account, but only one of these accounts can have an active session at any given time.

If you do not have an Interactive Brokers(IB) real account, you can not apply for paper account. At this time, you can use the default demo account of Interactive Brokers. But please note that all the market data was simulated in the demo account. Default demo account is as below.
